Jazeera Airways launches direct flights to Armenia

On July 8, 2025, Armenia and Kuwait marked the successful launch of the first Jazeera Airways direct flight from Kuwait to Yerevan. The inaugural event officially launched the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the State of Kuwait, Dr. Arsen Arakelyan, and the Jazeera Airways CEO Barathan Pasupathi.

This milestone strengthens bilateral ties and opens new horizons for tourism, cultural exchange, and economic cooperation between the two friendly nations.

Reminder: Citizens of all GCC member states can enter Armenia without a visa. Additionally, starting from July 1, 2025, a visa-free regime applies to citizens of friendly countries who hold residency cards valid for at least 6 months, issued by GCC countries, the European Union, Schengen Area states, or the United States.
